What You Need to Complete the Job

Clean and dry the concrete, then apply two thin coats by roller with a solvent-resistant sleeve. For wet or sloped areas, mix the Slip Res Additive Crushed Glass into the final coat. What is the difference between the Matt and Semi-Gloss finish?

The matt finish gives a subtle, low-sheen result that preserves the natural look of the concrete and enhances colour without obvious shine. The semi-gloss version gives a more pronounced sheen that deepens colour and creates a wet-look effect. Both offer the same level of protection.

How long before I can drive on the sealed surface?

Wait a minimum of 5 days before driving on the surface, and 24 hours before foot traffic. This lets the sealer film reach enough hardness to resist tyre marking. Cooler temperatures, high humidity or a thicker application will extend these times.

Will this sealer make my concrete slippery?

Film-forming sealers can reduce the slip resistance of a surface, especially when wet. For pool surrounds, steep driveways and external steps, add a slip-resistant additive such as the Dulux Avista Slip Res Additive Crushed Glass to the final coat, or choose a penetrating sealer that does not form a film.

Can I use this sealer indoors?
