Overview
Indopox E6-133 is the tinted solid epoxy in the Chemstuk range, and it is what most garage, workshop and warehouse floors are built from. It is two-pack and solvent free at 98 percent solids, so it builds around 180 microns dry in a single coat. A solvent based floor paint leaves a fraction of that behind.
That build is what lets it take forklift traffic, dropped tools, oil and most workshop chemicals, and it is why the same product is used as the basecoat under a flake floor. Chemstuk tints it to AS 2700 colours, so a floor can be matched to Colorbond roofing and fencing.

Working Time And Recoating
Thirty minutes of pot life at 25 degrees Celsius is the number to plan around, and on a hot slab it runs shorter. Mix what you can lay in that window rather than opening a full kit. The recoat window runs from 8 to 72 hours at 25 degrees, and longer in cooler conditions. Inside it the second coat bonds chemically into the first. Miss it and the first coat has to be abraded back to a matt before you continue.
What You Need to Complete the Job
Porous or freshly ground slabs drink more than the theoretical coverage, so prime with Primit E6-111 and allow 10 to 20 percent extra material. For a flake floor, broadcast Color Chips into the wet coat and seal the system with Cindopox E6-143 clear glaze. The full range is on the Chemstuk brand page.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 15 litre kit cover?
Up to 80 square metres at 180 microns on smooth, sealed concrete. Porous or freshly ground slabs take more, so allow 10 to 20 percent extra or prime the floor first.
What colours can I get?
Chemstuk tints Indopox to AS 2700, so it matches Colorbond shades such as Monument, Surfmist, Basalt and Woodland Grey. Select the colour and size on this listing.
Will it yellow in sunlight?
Epoxy chalks and ambers under UV. On a floor that gets direct sun, put a polyurethane or polyaspartic topcoat over it so the topcoat takes the UV instead of the epoxy.
What preparation does the slab need?
Diamond grind or acid etch to an open profile, remove all laitance, and make sure the slab is dry. Chemstuk specifies concrete at least 28 days old, at least 25 N per square millimetre, and dry to 75 percent relative humidity tested to ASTM F2170.
