Overview
The Dulux Avista Water Based Colour Tint is a concentrated, water-based colourant for tinting the Dulux Avista Waterbased Tintable Sealer Base and the Waterbased Epoxy flooring system. A 400ml tin provides the exact amount to colour one pail of water-based tintable base or one 8L epoxy kit.
The water-based formulation has low VOC and low odour, which makes it suitable for interior coloured concrete and epoxy floors. It integrates with the Avista water-based sealer and epoxy systems for even, reliable colour, and the palette covers popular shades for Australian homes and commercial spaces.

What You Need to Complete the Job
Add the full tin to a pail of Waterbased Tintable Sealer Base and mix thoroughly. For an epoxy floor, add the tint to the Waterbased Epoxy Part A after the Part B hardener is combined. The tint does not change the pot life or curing. Coatings are in the Concrete Sealers range.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this tint with the solvent-based tintable sealer?
No. This is a water-based tint for the water-based system. For solvent-based sealers, use the Dulux Avista Sealer Colour Tint 1L. Water-based tints will not mix properly with solvent-based products.
Will the tinted colour look the same as the colour card?
The colour card is a close representation, but the final shade is influenced by the concrete substrate colour, porosity, number of coats and application technique. For critical colour matching, apply a test patch first.
Does tinting affect the performance of the sealer or epoxy?
No. At the recommended ratio the tint integrates fully into the sealer or epoxy without affecting adhesion, durability, UV resistance or curing characteristics. It does not change the pot life of the epoxy, and for a sealer it does not alter the recoat times or the finished sheen level, so you can plan the job exactly as you would with a clear product.
