Overview
The Dulux Avista Sealer Polyurethane is a clear polyurethane topcoat for internal concrete floors. It is applied over an epoxy base coat to provide a hard-wearing, UV-resistant and chemical-resistant finish with a high-gloss appearance, suited to garages, showrooms and commercial floors where maximum durability is wanted.
It is compatible with the Dulux Avista Waterbased Epoxy and High Solids Epoxy systems, acting as the top layer that protects the epoxy and gives the floor its final look. Because it is a two-coat system, the epoxy provides the build and adhesion while the polyurethane supplies the wearing surface. The high-gloss finish also makes a flake floor stand out, and the polyurethane is the layer that takes the daily traffic, so the epoxy underneath stays protected.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this polyurethane as the only coat on concrete?
This product is designed as a topcoat over an epoxy base, not as a single coat on raw concrete. The epoxy provides the adhesion and film build, and the polyurethane gives the wearing surface. For a single-pack sealer on bare concrete, use a General Purpose or Waterbased sealer instead.
Is this suitable for exterior floors?
This listing is positioned for internal concrete floors. For exterior concrete, use a sealer formulated for outdoor UV exposure. Check the product data sheet for the specific exterior rating before using a polyurethane topcoat outside.
What epoxy base should I use with it?
The sealer is compatible with the Dulux Avista Waterbased Epoxy and High Solids Epoxy systems. Choose the water-based system for lower odour and indoor-friendly application, or the high-solids system for a heavier-duty build in a workshop or commercial floor.
