Weatherproof Louvre Vent Kit 150mm Single Brick

This louvre vent kit replaces a standard brick in a single brick wall, which gives you a finished vent opening without cutting a hole through the cladding. The kit includes 2m of rectangular flexible foil ducting, so it comes ready to run a line from the vent to a fan, a rangehood or a sub-floor space. It is rated to BAL-40, which means it meets the ember protection requirements of a bushfire-rated build.

Installation

Remove the brick and slide the vent body into the opening so the adapter sits securely between the bricks, with the face protruding about 4mm. Attach the ducting to the neck with duct tape or steel worm clamps, or both, and run it to the fan or outlet. The oval neck accepts 150mm flexible foil or semi-rigid ducting, so it adapts to most exhaust systems.

Does it really replace a brick?

Yes. The vent is sized to fit the standard brick cavity, H76 x W230 x D110mm, so it slides into the opening a brick would occupy. The face protrudes about 4mm and the box sits securely between the bricks.
