It combines a black EPDM pipe flashing with a grey Rapid Flash base, a polymer rubber reinforced with aluminium mesh that stretches and dresses down over any roof profile. The base is fully adhesive, so it installs in about half the time of a traditional lead flashing, with no lead to cut and no health risks.

Installation

Slip the EPDM flashing over the pipe and press the grey base down onto the roof. The aluminium-mesh reinforced base stretches and dresses down over the tiles or sheets, conforming to the profile without cutting. Peel the liner off the base as you go and press firmly so the adhesive bonds across the full footprint. For cable penetrations, feed them through the additional nipples before pressing the base down.

The grey base is backed with a full adhesive layer, so you peel the liner and press it down. There is no mastic to apply and no separate sealant, which is what cuts the install time compared with a traditional lead flashing.
