Deks Dektite Solar 5-55mm
The Deks Dektite Solar roof flashing seals a pipe from 5 to 55mm through a metal roof, with two additional ports for electrical or solar cables. It is a lead-free EPDM flashing made for the Australian climate, with a unique cone design and a formable aluminium base that moulds to the roof profile. It suits solar and electrical cable runs as well as small vent pipes, and the malleable edge helps you get a watertight fit on the sheet.

Specifications
- Product: Deks Dektite Solar
- Pipe range: 5-55mm, plus two cable ports
- Sleeve material: black EPDM rubber
- Base: malleable aluminium, formable to profile
- Temperature range: -50C to +115C at the roofline

Installation
Slide the Dektite over the pipe and feed the cables through the two ports. Press the aluminium base down over the roof profile and form it around the corrugations by hand, then fix it in place with suitable screws. Run a bead of sealant around the base edge where recommended to finish the watertight fit. The cone dresses around the pipe and the base follows the sheet profile.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Dektite Solar seal?
It seals a pipe from 5 to 55mm and two additional cable ports, so it covers a vent pipe plus solar or electrical cables in a single roof penetration.
How does the cone design help?
The cone is shaped to dress around the pipe and shed water, and it trims to the pipe diameter for a snug fit. It is designed to give a clean finish that a flat flashing cannot match.
Does it suit corrugated metal roofs?
Yes. The malleable aluminium base forms around the corrugations by hand, so the flashing follows the profile instead of bridging it. That is what keeps the seal tight on sheet metal roofs.
What temperature range does it handle?
It is designed to withstand temperatures between -50C and +115C at the roofline, which covers normal Australian roof conditions for solar and vent pipes.
