Dektite Solar Twin Port 0-35mm
The Dektite solar twin port is a two-port flashing that seals two solar or thermal cables where they pass through a metal roof. Each port accepts a cable from 0 to 35mm, so a solar array runs both cables through one flashing instead of cutting two holes. The black EPDM cone seals around the cables, and the 100 x 100mm aluminium base conforms to the roof profile for a watertight fit on corrugated, trim-deck and standing-seam roofs.
Key Features
- Two ports, each accepting cables from 0 to 35mm (0 to 1.5 inch)
- Reduces the number of roof penetrations for a solar install
- Black EPDM cone, UV resistant
- 100 x 100mm aluminium base plate
- Suits 0 to 45 degree roof pitches
- Withstands -50C to +115C continuous, up to +150C peak
Specifications
- Product: Dektite solar twin port
- Port range: 0-35mm per port
- Base plate: 100 x 100mm
- Material: UV-resistant black EPDM cone, aluminium base
- Temperature range: -50C to +115C continuous, +150C peak
- Roof pitch: 0-45 degrees
- Fixing: flexible aluminium collar for a snug seal
Installation
Feed the two cables through the ports and press the base plate down over the roof profile. The flexible aluminium collar seals around the cables and the base moulds to the corrugations, trim-deck ribs or standing seams. Fix the base down with suitable fasteners, and seal the cable entry with a neutral-cure silicone if required. The single flashing covers both penetrations in one clean unit.
Applications
- Solar PV and thermal cable penetrations
- Electrical and communication cable entries
- Corrugated, trim-deck and standing-seam metal roofs
- Residential and commercial solar installs
What You Need To Complete The Job
For a pipe plus cables use the Deks Dektite Solar 5-55mm, and for a single small pipe the MasterFlash solar twin port. Browse the Metal Roof Flashing range for the full kit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why use a twin port flashing?
A solar array runs two cables to the inverter. A twin port seals both through one penetration, so you cut one hole instead of two, which keeps the roof cleaner and reduces the number of leak points.
What cables fit the ports?
Each port accepts a cable or conduit from 0 to 35mm. The EPDM cone trims to fit smaller cables for a snug seal.
Does it fit standing-seam roofs?
Yes. The aluminium base moulds around standing seams and the corrugations, so the flashing works on corrugated, trim-deck and standing-seam profiles.
What temperature can it handle?
The EPDM cone is rated from -50C to +115C continuous and up to +150C peak, which covers normal Australian roof conditions for solar cable runs.
Can I order for delivery or pickup?
