2. What happens if I exceed the 40-minute pot life?

The mixture will become increasingly thick and difficult to spread, eventually gelling and becoming unworkable. Do not attempt to apply gelled material — it will not flow out, will leave roller marks and uneven texture, and will not bond properly to the substrate. Dispose of expired mix and prepare a fresh batch.

3. Can I apply a second coat of polyaspartic if needed?

Yes — the recoat window is 1–18 hours. If you wait beyond 18 hours, the surface will need light sanding to provide a mechanical key for the next coat.
