Overview
The AuSeal 20L Coloured Sealer is the pre-tinted version of the AuSeal acrylic concrete sealer, delivering colour and protection in one coat system. It is a solvent-based acrylic sealer that seals and colours driveways, exposed aggregate, brick, slate and terracotta in a single product, with a semi-gloss finish that deepens the surface.
The range covers popular Australian exterior shades, from charcoal and grey through sandstone, terracotta, brick red and blue stone. The sealer is UV stable and water resistant, and it reduces tyre-marking on driveways, which is the reason coloured concrete sealers are specified for decorative and trafficable surfaces.

What You Need to Complete the Job
Clean the surface, pressure wash it and let it dry before sealing. Stir the sealer well, dilute the first coat with up to 20 percent AuSeal Solvent, and apply evenly with a roller, broom or spray. Apply the second coat neat after 4 to 6 hours. If you prefer a clear finish, use the AuSeal 20L Clear EC25. The full range is in the Concrete Sealers range.
Frequently Asked Questions
What colours are available?
The range covers popular Australian exterior colours including charcoal, grey, blue stone, sandstone, terracotta, brick red, fawn, tan, cream, khaki and black, plus several deeper and lighter tones. Contact the store for the current colour card and availability before ordering a specific shade.
How long will the colour last?
Under normal conditions the sealer provides roughly 3 to 5 years of colour retention before a maintenance coat is recommended. Darker colours in full sun may need earlier maintenance, because they absorb more UV. A fresh coat applied before the sealer fully degrades is a straightforward re-seal job.
Can I apply it over an existing clear sealer?
Yes, provided the existing sealer is sound and compatible. Clean the surface thoroughly and test a small area first. The coloured sealer will add colour over the top of the existing clear finish. If the old sealer is peeling or failing, strip it back before applying the coloured coat.
Do I need a primer?
On most clean, bare concrete, no primer is needed. For very porous surfaces or over existing sealers, a thinned first coat acts as a primer and improves adhesion and colour uniformity. Always test on a small area first to confirm the finish.
