Colorbond Valley Gutter 240mm

The Colorbond valley gutter is a 240mm profile used at the internal roof intersections where two slopes meet, carrying water from the roof down to the gutter. The profile measures 10 x 240 x 240 x 10mm, with the 240mm channel giving a good water-carrying width for most valleys. It is made from 0.55mm BMT Colorbond steel, cut to length with a +200mm / -0mm tolerance, and sold per lineal metre with GST included.

Installation

Lay the valley gutter along the internal intersection where the two roof slopes meet, running it from the ridge down to the gutter. Fix it to the roof structure and lap the sheet profiles over the edges so water runs down the valley. Overlap the valley lengths at the joins and seal them so the valley line is continuous and watertight.
