The Zincalume ridge capping is a 220mm rolled profile that finishes the ridge line of a Trimdek roof, covering the apex where the two sheet slopes meet. The profile measures 30 x 220 x 220 x 30mm, with the 220mm legs covering each slope and the rolled edges finishing the line in an unpainted aluminium-zinc finish. It is made from 0.55mm BMT Zincalume steel, cut to length with a +200mm / -0mm tolerance, and the measurements can be changed to suit your requirements.

Installation

Run the ridge capping along the apex of the roof so the 220mm legs cover the sheet edges on both slopes. Fix it with roofing screws through the capping and the sheet into the ridge purlin, spacing them along the ridge. Overlap the lengths at the ridge joints and seal them so the ridge line is continuous and watertight.
