The Holman Multi Purpose Garden Hose in 12mm x 30m is the longer version of the classic household hose, built for properties where the tap and the watering point are a fair distance apart. It is kink resistant with reinforced webbing and a UV protective coating that stands up to Australian sun. Both ends come with removable fittings, so the hose is easy to service or to swap between jobs.

The tap end carries a 20/25mm BSP tap connector and the other end a 12mm snap on connector for a hose gun or nozzle. With 30m of reach you can water the back yard, wash the car at the front or fill a trough without moving the tap connection. What does fitted G & L mean?

It means the hose is supplied with the fittings already fitted: a G, or gun end, with a 12mm snap on connector, and an L, or tap end, with a 20/25mm BSP thread that screws onto a standard garden tap. Both fittings are removable so they can be replaced or swapped to other hoses.

Is a 30m hose too long for normal water pressure?

No. At 12mm diameter and 30m length the hose still runs well on standard mains pressure for garden watering. The 1000kPa burst rating covers domestic mains supply, and kink resistance keeps the flow steady even where the hose bends around corners.
