About EERA Replacement Notcher Blades

Even hardened blades wear down with use. This listing is one replacement blade set for an EERA flashing notcher, made to suit one of six profiles: T40 Trapezoidal, Kingspan, BTD 45, IBR, Prodek or Lokdek. Choose your notcher from the Suits Notcher option before adding to the cart.

The blades in EERA notchers are high strength hardened steel, and EERA lists them as both replaceable and sharpenable. How long a set lasts depends on how hard the tool is worked and how well it is looked after. Having a fresh set on hand means a worn blade does not stop the job.

Blades Are Profile Specific

EERA blades are not interchangeable. Each set is cut to the notch shape of one profile, so a T40 set will only fit and cut correctly in the T40 notcher, a Lokdek set only in the Lokdek notcher, and so on. EERA puts it plainly: one tool, one profile. Ordering the wrong option means a set that will not do the job, so check the product code on your notcher before you buy.

Can one blade set fit several notchers?

No. Each set suits one profile only, and EERA blades are not interchangeable between notchers. If you run both a T40 and a Lokdek notcher, for example, you need a set for each. Pick the matching option from the Suits Notcher list before you order.

How do I know which notcher I have?

Check the product code for your tool. The six codes covered here are T4068 for T40 Trapezoidal, KIN-66 for Kingspan, BTD69 for BTD 45, AUS-70 for IBR, PRO-67 for Prodek and LOK71 for Lokdek. If you cannot find the code, call us with the profile you notch and we will help you match it.

Should I sharpen the blades or replace them?

EERA lists its notcher blades as sharpenable as well as replaceable, so a dull set can often be brought back before it needs replacing. Blade life depends on the workload and on maintenance. Once a set is worn past sharpening, or damaged, fit a new set from this listing.

Is the price for one set?
