Epoxy Floor Coating Carbon Kit 8L
The AutoTech epoxy floor coating Carbon Kit is an 8L solvent-based two-pack system that seals and protects bare concrete in one coat. It dries to a deep charcoal finish that suits garages, workshops and service areas where a darker floor hides the day-to-day scuffs of cars and equipment. The kit is self-priming, so there is no separate primer or topcoat, and one coat seals the concrete in a single pass.

What You Need To Complete The Job
The kit includes everything for the job: the etch, the two-part coating and a pack of decorative flakes. Clean and etch the concrete, mix Part A and Part B, and roll the coating on in one coat. For a textured, slip-resistant finish, broadcast the grey blend decorative flakes into the wet coat, or try the blue blend flakes. See the full epoxy range for the other shades.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a dark floor show dirt?
Dark finishes tend to hide dust, scuffs and oil marks better than light grey, which is one of the reasons Carbon is a popular choice for workshop and service floors. The surface still wipes clean easily with water beading on the coating.
How much floor does one kit cover?
The 8L kit covers up to 40 m2 on bare concrete in a single coat, about the size of a standard two-car garage. For a larger area, order two kits and roll in bays while the coating is wet so the finish stays even.
What is in the kit?
Each kit includes the base (Part A), the activator (Part B), a concrete etch for surface preparation, a pack of decorative flakes, a stirrer and full instructions. The concrete needs to be clean, dry and etched before the epoxy is applied.
Do I need a primer?
No. This is a self-priming single-coat system. Prepare the floor, mix the two parts thoroughly, and roll the coating on in one pass.
What colours are available?
The solvent-based epoxy range comes in three shades: Carbon, a deep charcoal; Manhattan, a smooth mid-tone grey; and Sterling Grey, a lighter neutral grey. Each kit is a complete system.
