The Colorbond corner capping is a 140 x 140mm profile that caps the external corner of a building, sealing the end of the wall or roof sheet where it turns the corner. It is similar in use to barge capping, but formed to a square corner profile that covers both faces of the corner. The 140 x 140 size gives a wider cover for prominent corners, and it is made from 0.55mm BMT Colorbond steel, cut to length with a +200mm / -0mm tolerance.

Installation

Offer the corner capping up to the external corner so the two legs cover each face of the corner evenly. Fix it through both legs with suitable screws, sealing the top edge against the wall or roof. The profile caps the corner and directs water away from the seam, and the wider 140 x 140 legs give a broader finish on a prominent corner.
