Barge Capping Roof Flashing Colorbond

Installation
Fix the barge capping over the sheet edge at the gable, running it from the eave to the ridge along the fascia or barge board. Fix it with roofing screws through the sheet and into the barge board, sealing the top edge where it meets the ridge capping. The profile closes the corrugations so water runs off the gable instead of into the sheet ends.
Applications
- Gable ends on corrugated iron and custom orb roofs
- Sealing the fascia to sheeting junction
- New roofs and re-roofing on metal sheet profiles
- Finishing the gable edge in a Colorbond colour match

Frequently Asked Questions
What is barge capping for?
It finishes the gable edge of a metal roof, sealing the junction where the roof sheeting meets the fascia or barge board. It stops water and wind driving into the sheet ends at the gable.
Which roof profile does it suit?
This barge capping is shaped for corrugated iron (custom orb) roof sheets, which is the most common corrugated profile. Other profiles like Trimdek and Klip Lok use their own barge capping shapes.
How is it priced?
It is priced per lineal metre including GST, and the flashing is cut to your required length with a tolerance of +200mm / -0mm.
Can I order a custom length?
Yes. The flashing is made to length, so you order the run you need. Custom profiles and measurements are also available if the standard shape does not suit.
Can I order for delivery or pickup?
Yes. You can order online and choose Australia-wide delivery or pickup from our Truganina trade counter in Melbourne’s west.
