How To Apply It
Clean the surface and dry it, peel back the liner and press the tape down, smoothing it firmly over the joint. The tape moulds around fascias, penetrations and gutter laps, and the aluminium facing sheds water. Overlap the ends by at least 25mm on a joint run, and press the overlap down flat for a continuous seal.
Applications
- Sealing gutter laps and downpipes
- Flashing skylights, windows, doors and pipe entries
- Repairs to sheds, tanks, caravans and cladding seams
- Temporary or permanent weatherproofing around the house

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same tape as the 10m rolls?
It is the same Butyl Flash material in a shorter 3m handy roll. It suits small jobs and repairs where a 10m roll would mean cutting off most of the length.
Can I use it on a metal roof?
Yes. The butyl backing bonds to metal and the aluminium facing resists the weather. It is a common repair tape for metal roofs, gutters and flashings.
Does the tape stay flexible in cold weather?
Yes. The butyl backing stays pliable, so the tape conforms to the surface and holds its seal as the roof expands and contracts with temperature change.
How long does a 3m roll last on a typical job?
It depends on the run. A single gutter lap takes a short piece, while a full skylight surround can use most of the roll. Measure the flashing line before ordering to be sure.
Can I order for delivery or pickup?
