Byute Flash is a self-adhesive flashing tape with a silver aluminium foil face over a thick, high-tack butyl backing. This 50mm x 10m roll is the narrow stock size, made for tight joints and seams where a wide tape is too much. It is the one to reach for under gutter edges, around window sills and over narrow overlaps, and it bonds to metal, PVC, brick, timber, glass and fibre cement without heat or primers.

How To Apply It

Clean the surface and dry it, peel the liner and press the tape into the joint, smoothing it down as you go. The narrow width fits where a wider tape would bridge onto the surface you want to keep clean, like under a gutter edge or around a sill. Where the run turns a corner, cut the tape and dress the piece around the corner with firm pressure.
