Installation

Do I need left or right hand?

Look at the gutter run from the outside of the building. The left and right hand versions are mirror images, so choose the one that matches the end of the run you are closing. If you are not sure, measure your run and tell us which end the stop end is for and we can confirm the right version.

Will it fit my quad gutter?

This stop end is made for quad gutter profiles and is compatible with Fielders and Metroll quad gutter systems. Check that your gutter is the quad profile before you order, so the stop end sits flush against the end of the run.

How is it fixed?

The stop end is fixed with rivets and silicone. Apply silicone around the inside edge, place the stop end over the end of the gutter, and rivet it in place. That gives a watertight seal that holds under heavy rain.

Do I need one or two stop ends?

A straight gutter run has two open ends and usually needs a stop end at each one, unless one end joins a corner or a downpipe fitting. Count the open ends on your run and order one stop end for each.
