Bremick Polycut Hex B8 Cat5 Polycarbonate Fixing 65mm
The Bremick Polycut polycarbonate fixing screw is a one-step fastener for corrugated and square rib polycarbonate sheeting. The cutting fins automatically form the expansion hole and self-centre the screw as it drives, so the sheet can move with temperature change without stress-cracking. It fixes into timber or steel up to 2mm thick, carries a Class 4 galvanised coating to AS 3566 Armour Coat, and seals with a 26mm EPDM washer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do polycarbonate screws need cutting fins?
Polycarbonate expands and contracts with temperature more than metal or timber. The cutting fins carve a clearance hole that is sized for that movement, so the sheet does not stress-crack around the fixing over time.
What rib heights does it suit?
The screw is ideal for profile rib heights of 25-40mm, which covers corrugate, Greca and 5 rib polycarbonate sheeting. Fix on the crest of the sheet.
What does the 26mm EPDM washer do?
The oversized EPDM washer spreads the load across the sheet crest and seals the fixing point against water, so the roof stays weathertight at every screw.
Is the Class 4 coating good for coastal areas?
Yes. The Class 4 galvanised coating to AS 3566 is engineered for exposed coastal and industrial environments, which is why it is the choice for salt-air exposure.
