Overview
The OX P2V dust/mist disposable mask is a valved P2 mask that protects against mechanically and thermally generated particles, in a 12 pack. The exhale valve provides increased air flow, which keeps the mask cooler and more comfortable on strenuous work, and dual straps give a firm, comfortable fit. It complies with AS/NZS 1716.
The valve is the difference on this mask. On hot, hard work the valve lets warm breath out so the mask does not build up heat and moisture inside, which is why a valved P2 mask is the comfortable choice for a full shift of sanding, cutting or grinding. The P2 rating is the same particulate protection as the non valved version.
The dual straps hold the mask square on the face, which keeps the seal consistent while you move around a job.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a valved P2 mask?
The exhale valve lets warm breath out of the mask, which reduces heat and moisture build up inside on strenuous or hot work. That makes the valved mask more comfortable to keep on for a full shift, with the same P2 particulate protection as a non valved mask. The valve also stops the mask fogging safety glasses as much, because the warm breath is directed out instead of rising into the lenses.
What does the P2 rating cover?
P2 covers mechanically and thermally generated particles, which is the dust, fumes and mist found in sanding, cutting, grinding and demolition work. The mask complies with AS/NZS 1716, the Australian and New Zealand standard for respiratory protective devices.
How many masks are in the pack?
There are 12 masks in the pack. It is a smaller pack than the 20 pack non valved version, which suits a regular user or a small crew, and the valved design keeps each mask comfortable for longer wear.
