More Information

Fixed Skylight for Natural Daylight

This fixed skylight brings abundant natural daylight through a pitched or flat roof without any opening parts. It is available in nine sizes from 550 x 700mm to 1140 x 1180mm, with a low-profile frame that sits close to the roofline for a clean appearance. Because the unit does not open, the frame stays slim and the glazed area is maximised for light intake.

Key Features

  • Fixed, non-opening design for maximum daylight with minimal frame
  • Low-profile frame sits flush with the roofline
  • Double-glazed laminated glass for strength and safety
  • Low-E coating reduces heat gain while letting daylight through
  • NEAT self-cleaning exterior keeps the glass clearer for longer
  • Blocks around 70-75% of solar heat for indoor comfort
  • Blocks 99% of UV to protect furnishings from fading
  • Reduces external noise compared to a single-glazed unit

What You Need To Complete The Installation

A fixed skylight needs the correct flashing to stay weathertight. Contact our team to confirm the flashing kit for your roof type and pitch. Browse the fixed skylight range or the full SKYLIGHT range, and see the Skylight Flashings and Accessories for installation extras.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this skylight open?

No. The fixed skylight is a non-opening unit, so it lets light in but does not provide ventilation. That keeps the frame slim and the glazed area large, which means more daylight per square metre of roof opening.

How much heat and UV does it block?

The glazing blocks around 70-75% of solar heat and approximately 99% of UV. That helps keep the room cooler in summer and reduces fading of curtains, furniture and flooring.

What sizes are available?

The fixed skylight is available in nine sizes: 550×700, 550×980, 550×1180, 550×1400, 780×980, 780×1180, 780×1400, 1140×700 and 1140x1180mm. Choose the size that matches your roof opening.

Does it need a flashing kit?

Yes. A flashing kit is required to make the skylight weathertight against the roof, and it is sold separately. The right kit depends on the skylight size and your roof material, so confirm the profile with the supplier before ordering.
