Box Gutter Brackets
Box gutter brackets support a box gutter along its run and hold it at the right slope so stormwater drains cleanly to the outlet. They are known by a few names on site, including saddle and straps, strap brackets, jonda brackets and boxy brackets, and they are one of the most popular ways to fix a box gutter to the building structure. This range comes in three sizes from 250mm to 1000mm, so there is a bracket for narrow internal gutters and for full-width runs.

- Pre-drilled holes for quick fixing
- Easy slide in and out for positioning before final fix
- Lacquered edges add rust protection

Installation
Slide the bracket into position under the box gutter, set the height so the gutter runs at the required fall, and fix through the pre-drilled holes. The brackets go in before the gutter is connected to the downpipe, and the easy slide adjustment lets you set the alignment first and fix once the run is correct. Space the brackets along the gutter to keep the slope consistent over the full length.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are box gutter brackets used for?
They support box gutters to the building structure and hold the gutter at the correct slope for drainage. Without them the gutter sags and water pools instead of flowing to the outlet.
What sizes do they come in?
They come in three sizes from 250mm to 1000mm, which covers narrow internal gutters through to full-width box gutters. Match the bracket to the width of your gutter.
Why are the rivets drawn from the material?
The rivets are punched from the bracket material itself, so there are no separate rivets to fit or lose on site. It also makes the bracket stronger at the connection points.
Are they rust resistant?
Yes. The brackets have lacquered edges for extra rust protection, and the construction is certified to the AS1170, AS2179.1, AS3500.3 and AS4600 standards for structural and rainwater goods use.
