Overview
The Black Knight Gripmaster coated glove uses Maxisafe’s Black Gripmaster coating technology to deliver excellent grip in wet, oily environments, in the Large size. The multi-layered coating prevents oil penetration while repelling water, and an Anti-Bac antimicrobial treatment protects against harmful bacteria and an anti-odour barrier. The 13 gauge lycra/nylon shell gives stretch and a close fit.
This is the glove for workshops, maintenance and materials handling where oil and water are part of the job. The coating is thin enough to keep flexibility and dexterity, there is no strikethrough to the inside of the glove to cause irritation, and the glove is machine washable without reducing the effectiveness of the Anti-Bac treatment.
The black coating also hides the oil and dirt that a day of workshop work picks up, so the glove looks presentable longer than a light coated glove.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Black Knight grip better in oil?
The multi-layered Gripmaster coating is designed to prevent oil from penetrating to the glove surface while repelling water, so the palm keeps its grip in wet, oily environments. That is the main difference between this glove and a standard coated glove. That is what makes it a workshop and maintenance favourite rather than a dry-handling-only glove.
What does the Anti-Bac treatment do?
The Anti-Bac antimicrobial treatment provides protection against harmful bacteria and forms an anti-odour barrier inside the glove. Because the glove is machine washable, the treatment keeps working even after repeated washes.
What is the EN388 rating?
The glove is rated EN388:2016 as 4 1 3 1 X. The first digit, 4, is the abrasion rating, and the full code is a stated listing value for this product. It reflects a general purpose coated glove for handling and maintenance work.
