Barge Capping Corrugated 140mm Zincalume
This 140mm Zincalume barge capping is the unpainted profile for the gable edge of a corrugated roof. It sits over the corrugations and seals the junction between the sheet and the barge board, giving the gable a clean finish in a corrosion-resistant aluminium-zinc coating. It is formed in 0.55mm BMT Zincalume steel, cut to length with a +200mm / -0mm tolerance, and priced per lineal metre with GST included.

Installation
Run the capping along the gable edge so the 140mm leg covers the corrugations and finishes down the barge board. Fix it through the sheet into the barge board with roofing screws, and seal the top edge against the ridge capping. The wider leg gives the corrugated profile a full cover, keeping water and wind out of the sheet ends.
Applications
- Gable ends on corrugated metal roofs
- Sealing the fascia to sheeting junction
- Coastal and high-moisture areas
- New roofs and re-roofing work
What You Need To Complete The Job

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 140mm profile for?
The 140mm leg covers the full width of a corrugated sheet profile at the gable, sealing the sheet end and carrying the waterline clear of the barge board.
Is this the same profile as the Colorbond 140mm?
Yes, same shape, different finish. This version is Zincalume with an unpainted aluminium-zinc coating, while the Colorbond version has a baked-on colour finish.
How is it cut and priced?
It is cut to your required length with a tolerance of +200mm / -0mm and priced per lineal metre including GST.
Why use Zincalume on the coast?
Zincalume’s aluminium-zinc coating is well suited to coastal and high-moisture areas where a painted finish can be harder to maintain, and it keeps the flashing corrosion resistant without painting.
