The Bailey FS14098 retail platform step stool is a two step aluminium step with an extra wide platform at 0.5m. Bailey designed it as a safer alternative to the traditional workstep: instead of a narrow perch, you get a 480 x 300mm standing and sitting area with a tread below it, which suits work where a person is up and down all day. At 4.4kg it is light enough to carry one handed, and it folds to a compact pack size. Hanging hooks on the handrail let it hang on a stock cage or a wall when it is not in use, and the anti-slip polymer boots hold the base on shop floors. It carries a 150kg industrial rating and is made to AS1892.
