At this height the difference between a platform ladder and a step ladder is not convenience, it is how the work is done: you stand on a 400 x 485mm platform with a squared aluminium handrail and work facing the job, instead of leaning across the top of a ladder. The Punchlock rung to stile joint gives the frame its torsional rigidity, and the anti-slip PVC boots hold the base on smooth industrial floors. The rating is 170kg at industrial duty, and the ladder is made to AS1892.
