The Bailey FS14092 Pro ASE8 is the tallest model in the Pro Step Extension range, an eight step aluminium ladder that covers stepladder, leaning and extension work in one frame. As a stepladder it stands 2.4m, and extended it reaches 4.33m, which is roof and second storey height. The conversion runs on integrated slides rather than a hinge, so the ladder converts quickly and stays compact on the vehicle. In extension mode the back legs adjust in 300mm increments to set the height, and the narrow back section passes through small openings such as manhole covers. The multi-function top cap stores tools and parts and allows leaning ladder use, and the factory-fitted V rung grips poles and trees. Rated to 150kg for industrial duty and made to AS1892.
