Colorbond 170mm Flat Ridge Roof Flashing

The 170mm Colorbond flat ridge roof flashing finishes the ridge line of a Trimdek or similar ribbed roof, sealing the apex where the two sheet slopes meet. It is shaped to sit over the Trimdek profile and carry water down each slope, keeping the ridge watertight. It is made from 0.55mm BMT Colorbond steel, cut to length with a +200mm / -0mm tolerance, and sold per lineal metre with GST included.

Installation

Run the ridge flashing along the apex of the roof so it covers the cut sheet edges on both slopes. Fix it with roofing screws through the flashing and the sheet into the ridge purlin, spacing them along the ridge. Overlap the lengths at the ridge joints and seal them so the ridge line is continuous and watertight.
