Each roll combines a resilient glasswool blanket with a heavy-duty reflective foil facing, creating a continuous barrier that slows heat flow, reduces condensation and softens rain or hail noise.

Installed between the roof cladding and purlins or battens, the blanket improves indoor comfort by keeping summer heat out and winter warmth in. Installation overview

Unroll Lion Insulation Roof Blanket foil-side down across the battens or purlins, lapping foil joints by at least 50 mm. Tape longitudinal seams with reinforced foil tape. Fix roof sheets as usual, compressing the blanket to ensure a close fit around screw penetrations and at ridge or hip lines. For tiled roofs, secure the blanket with galvanised mesh or strapping before tiling.
