The Deks Rapid Flash Dektite seals a 50 to 170mm pipe where it comes through the roof. It is the large size in the Rapid Flash range, built for flues, bigger vents and exhausts, with a black EPDM pipe flashing set on a grey polymer rubber base that stretches and dresses down over any roof profile. The base is fully adhesive, so the flashing installs in about half the time of a lead flashing and needs no separate mastic.

Installation

Slide the EPDM flashing over the pipe so the base sits flat on the roof, then peel the liner and press the grey base down. The base stretches over the tiles or sheet profile and dresses down to follow the corrugations. Press firmly around the full edge so the adhesive seals, and dress the EPDM cone up the pipe to finish the joint. No heat and no tools beyond a knife for trimming.
