By decoupling the sheet from the frame it absorbs movement caused by temperature swings and strong wind, eliminating the creaks and cracks that Laserlite panels can make as they expand and contract. Supplied in a convenient 20 metre roll, this white version blends unobtrusively with light-coloured structures and clear roofing.

How it works

1. Dampens vibration – isolates the sheet from the frame so wind gusts cannot drum the panel against the purlin.
2. Allows free movement – compressible foam flexes with the sheet, preventing stress fractures around fixings.
3. Improves seal – fills micro-gaps to reduce dust, insect ingress and minor water splash at crest-fix locations.

Installation guidance

1. Clean the batten or purlin surface so it is dry and free of oil.
2. Unroll the tape along the fixing line, pressing firmly to bond the adhesive.
3. Trim with scissors and peel off the release film just ahead of laying the sheet.
4. Fix polycarbonate using crest-fix screws with oversized washers, tightening until the washer seats on the sheet but the foam is not over-compressed.
